What Notion Web Clipper documents
Notion’s official Web Clipper saves pages to a selected Notion workspace destination. It is designed around having the saved content in Notion.
Tabvenir 0.0.1 first creates local Markdown files; Notion import is a separate manual step. The 0.0.2 update submitted for review adds an optional personal-connection save action. Neither import nor direct saving should be described as a local-only operation once content enters Notion.
What the published Tabvenir version does
Select supported public pages, save local Markdown and images to a chosen folder or ZIP, review the result, and choose whether safely saved tabs close.
The published release is free and requires no Tabvenir account for local saving. Image downloads contact their original hosts. Selected pages may still fail to extract fully, so check important notes before closing the browser tabs.
Choose by your next reading task
Choose the official Notion clipper if Notion is your primary destination and its workflow fits your pages. Choose a local export first if you also want an ordinary-file backup or want to use the collection in an editor or an Obsidian vault before deciding what to import.
Test the same representative public article and inspect the parts you need: text, source URL, code, image assets and destination organisation. For a batch, include at least one difficult page. Keep active work and unsaved forms out of any bulk-closing workflow.
Version and independence
Tabvenir 0.0.2 was submitted to Chrome and Edge for review on 2026-10-09. Its optional Obsidian opening and direct Notion saving are not represented here as published 0.0.1 features.
Tabvenir is independent of the compared product. Names are used to identify the tools and their workflows, without implying endorsement. Features can change; consult the linked documentation before choosing.
