Updated:
Original image hosts
Saving or retrying images requests each image URL from its host. The host sees normal network information. Existing cookies can accompany same-site requests when enabled; cross-site images omit cookies. Referer fallback may be used where the host requires it.
Original page websites
A page is already loaded by your browser. If you choose to reload a sleeping tab, the browser makes a normal page request using that site’s existing login state. Extraction itself runs on a document clone on your device.
Version 0.0.2: optional Obsidian and Notion connections
Saved notes include a clickable source webpage link. Configure an Obsidian vault to open saved notes, with optional automatic opening after a completed batch. Optional Notion export requires your Notion account, a personal connection token and a shared target page. Only when you click Save to Notion are selected saved text, titles, source URLs and images sent directly to Notion. The token stays in extension session storage and is cleared on browser restart or disconnect. Tabvenir receives neither the token nor your notes. Local saving needs no account; there is no developer telemetry or automatic cloud sync.
Connecting sends your token to api.notion.com to check the target page. Obsidian receives the vault name and relative filename. Target metadata and export progress stay local; ZIP export copies can remain seven days. Disconnecting does not delete Notion pages or revoke the Notion token.
tabvenir.com
The website serves its own HTML, CSS, scripts, icons, preview download and notices. Opening a help or policy link creates a normal website request. No tab list, article contents or automatic feedback is attached.
Browser stores
Install and update the Chrome release through the Chrome Web Store. The extension has no separate developer telemetry endpoint.
Your email service
When you choose Send by email, the website opens a draft in your email application. Only sending that draft delivers it. Email providers process messages under their own terms.
What is absent in this version
No remote article parser, AI endpoint, account service, payment API, license server, developer analytics endpoint or cloud-sync service is used. Reading-list icons come from the browser’s local favicon cache.
